MAFUYU
HARU’S OLDER BROTHER, the only one who knows his past. At least, in their family. He is four years older than Haru and goes to homeschooling for learning magic. Haru trusts him because Mafuyu is someone who can accept that truth without judgement or the need to tell others. An Animagus who took the form of a Tundra Wolf, and currently lives as an ordinary salaryman.
SAORI
HARU MET HER when he was on the school’s holiday break. Higashino Saori is a witch whose body stopped aging at 26. She cannot grow older due to a curse passed down from the Higashino family—something she kept from others. Their first meeting was in Saori’s antique shop, leading him to discover that Saori could read his past. Thus, after both of them learned the truth, he and Saori exchanged each other’s secrets. For the first time, Haru believed that with Saori, love and trust might be something worth giving attention to in his life. Not because she knows everything, but because she knows everything yet still chooses to stay.
HIKARU
AN ANIMAGUS he knew from elementary school. They both attended a normal school—not one for wizards—and Hikaru was the opposite of Haru, who was quiet and kept his magical identity a secret. Hikaru often talked about the wonders of natural magic, and because of his friendly and outgoing nature, the two of them became close. Hikaru is now in a relationship with Otaguro Masako, Haru’s younger Tsukiyomi friend.
RYŌTA
HIS CLOSE FRIEND, whom he met at Mahoutokoro, from Kōsei house. Since Haru never got close with many of his peers and now only a few of them remain—including Ryōta—the two of them have started spending more time together.
